Jeev Milkha Singh will be making his PGA TOUR debut as a member in 2010. The soft-spoken man from India - who played collegiately at Abilene Christian -- earned enough money last year to put him among the top 125 at the end of last season to earn his card. Despite being sidelined by a rib injury for several weeks and playing a full schedule overseas, Singh ended up playing 15 times on TOUR in 2009. He posted a pair of top-10s, including solo fourth at the World Golf Championships-CA Championship. Singh, whose father Milkha was nicknamed "The Flying Sikh" when he represented India in two Olympic Games, won the NCAA Division II title in 1993. He has won three times on the European Tour and has 14 other international victories.
He doesn't fit into any category on TOUR and that may be a good thing. Jeev stepped out of his comfort zone and onto the PGA TOUR a couple of years ago, now it is time for him to prove that he can stick around.
One of the TOUR's best putters in the 15-25 foot range, where he ranked in the top 15, Singh struggled mightily on the shorter ones, ranking 175th from 10-15 feet and 87th on putts 4-8 feet.
