A career year should give Kevin Na confidence heading into the 2010 campaign. His 26th-place finish in the FedExCup means that Na will be making his debut in the first three majors next year, too. Na set the tone for 2009 when he posted four top-10 finishes in his first six starts of the year, including third at the FBR Open. That's more than he had posted in any season - and Na went on to finish with nine, second only to Jim Furyk's 11 among non-winners. Na also tied for third at THE PLAYERS Championship on the strength of a second-round 66 and made his first trip to THE TOUR Championship presented by Coca-Cola. His $2.7 in earnings was a career high and put him 19th on the money list.
He grew up before our eyes. He's now a veteran and a good one. With time and experience on his side Na has a boldness in his style of play that makes him dangerous every week.
Na finished 65 spots higher in the FedExCup standings in 2009 thanks to a career-best nine top-10s. Na also finished in the top five in putting from both 15-20 feet and 20-25 feet.
