Luke Donald certainly won't have to answer any more questions about his left wrist in 2010. He made sure everyone knew he was completed recovered from that August 2008 surgery with last year's solid performance. The 32-year-old Englishman made the cut in all but two of the 21 tournaments he entered and finished 25th or better in all but six of them. That remarkable consistency produced earnings of just under $2.2 million and landed Donald in the field for THE TOUR Championship presented by Coca-Cola for the first time since the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup began. Donald will be looking to end a four-year victory drought in 2010. He can build on those six top-10s last year - one of which was a tie for second at the Verizon Heritage, although he was a distant 10 strokes behind the red-hot Brian Gay.
The picture of his career has become a little more abstract the last couple of years. Luke is the type of player who should be around for as long as he wants to be.
Donald tied for fourth in putting average in 2009 with a 1.729 average. He also ranked first in sand save percentage with a 64.43 average.
