Ever since he bypassed q-school and earned his PGA TOUR card in 2005, we've been waiting for Ryan Moore's breakout season. We got it last year, and the 2010 season looks to be one of great promise for the UNLV grad. Moore picked up his first PGA TOUR win at the Wyndham Championship, closing with a 65 and beating Jason Bohn and Kevin Stadler with a birdie on the third playoff hole. He also tied for 10th at the U.S. Open and had four other top-10s, including in his last two starts on TOUR. A trip to China for the World Golf Championships-HSBC Champions in November also proved to be a confidence builder as Moore finished solo third. He ended the TOUR season with more than $2.2 million, a career high.
Young rich and talented -- who needs logos? Some of us may not be able to hear the drummer that he marches to but he marched into the winner circle for the first time.
Moore performed best when putting from seven feet in '09. He was T9 on TOUR from seven feet, while he was 35th from four feet, 82nd from five feet and 59th from six feet.
