Brandt Snedeker is looking forward to seeing what he can accomplish completely healthy in 2010. After all, he missed two months last year due to a rib injury and still managed to win more than $1.4 million - with all but $115,415 coming in the 17 events after his return. Snedeker, who was the 2007 PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year, finished 10th or better five times last year, including a tie for second at the John Deere Classic. Snedeker fired rounds of 68-65 on a grueling Sunday there but Steve Stricker, who won by three, was just too strong. Snedeker attracted the most attention, though, for a four-putt on the 72nd hole of the BMW Championship that kept him from advancing into the final event of the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup. Snedeker handled that disappointment with characteristic grace. He went on to finish 33rd in the FedExCup and 55th on the money list.

The TOUR may or may not need more kids like Sneds but the world certainly does. He has been a great story on TOUR for his first few years and there are plenty of chapters yet to be written.

He ranked first in approach shots from 50 to 75 yards in 2009. On average, he hit it to within 10 feet of the pin from that distance, six feet closer than the TOUR average.
