Another young gun who will be looking to rebound in 2010, Camilo Villegas didn't even get to defend his title at THE TOUR Championship presented by Coca-Cola last year. Turns out, his title defense at the BMW Championship was Villegas' final start in the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup and he'd only get to see the action at East Lake on TV. Villegas actually improved his ball-striking - hitting three percent more fairways and two percent more greens in regulation. His performance on those greens took a tumble, though, as the young Colombian fell from 15th to 116th in putting average and 55th to 119th in putts per round. Villegas started the 2009 season on a strong note - posting three top-10s and a tie for 12th in his first six starts, including two in World Golf Championships events. But he didn't finish higher than 13th in his next 14 starts before tying for eighth in the penultimate Playoffs event. Always one of the TOUR's most focused players, Villegas should come back strong in 2010.
He went through the ebb of the game in 2009, look for the victories to flow in 2010.
In '08, he placed second in the FedExCup standings and ranked fifth with a 69.49 scoring average. In '09, though, he was 33rd in scoring average and 42nd in FedExCup points.
