It's hard to imagine seeing much more of Henrik Stenson in 2010 after he famously stripped to his skivvies to play a shot out of the water at the World Golf Championships-CA Championship. But now that the Swede has joined the PGA TOUR again he'll need to play at least 15 events - as opposed to last year's 10 -- to fulfill his membership requirements. One of those, of course, will be THE PLAYERS Championship, which Stenson won by four shots last year on the strength of a closing 66 in major-championship like conditions at TPC Sawgrass. The victory was Stenson's second on TOUR along with the 2007 World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship. As evidenced by the caliber of his victories, Stenson is one of those players who tends to play well in the big events. He finished 13th or higher in the last three majors of 2009, including ninth at the U.S. Open and a tie for sixth at the PGA Championship.

He only wins big tournaments and then he goes away. There is just one last step to take for Stenson. It will be interesting to see just how much Henrik we see in the U.S. in the coming years.

Stenson used a strongly-lofted 3-wood to average 299 yards off the tee in his final-round 66 at THE PLAYERS. Stenson hit driver only once that day at TPC Sawgrass.
