In a nutshell
The Charles Schwab Cup rewards the top performers and participation over the course of the season. Points are based on official money won by top-10 finishers. Double points are available at the five Champions Tour major championships and the season-ending Charles Schwab Cup Championship, which will be played Oct. 25-28 at Sonoma Country Club in Sonoma, Calif. The program offers $2.1 million in annuity payouts to its five leading performers, with $1 million to the winner.
