    Youth Policy: Kids 18 and under receive complimentary addmission. For hospitality venues, children +6 years old need a ticket. 


    New for 2014: Parking on-site requires advance purchase. Parking passes must be present at arrival. Four for more FREE Parking requires print-at-home voucher. See all Parking Options HERE.

    New for 2014: Opaque bags measuring 6x6x6 inches and smaller or clear bags 12x6x12 inches and smaller are allowed inside the course grounds.
    - THE PLAYERS now allows fans to bring in their own food in a 1 gallon clear, plastic bag where food items are also wrapped in clear wrap. This policy does not allow fans to bring in beverages. Check out a list of Prohibited Items HERE.
    - Clear PLAYERS bags will be sold at 25 participating Daily’s convenience stores for a $5 donation to The First Tee of Northeast Florida. For more information on the clear bag policy, watch the video below:

    If you are bringing a cellphone to THE PLAYERS, the device must be on silent at all times. Calls may be placed or received only in designated cell phone zones. No still photos during official competition rounds, Thursday-Sunday.

    PGA TOUR Wives Association and Community PedsCare®
    Tuesday, May 6 (9:30-11 a.m.)

    On Tuesday, May 6, the PGA TOUR Wives Association and THE PLAYERS will host children and families from Wolfson Children’s Hospital and Community PedsCare for a fun-filled, circus-themed morning at the Stadium Village. "These Kids Can Play Under the Big Top! Presented by EverBank benefiting Community PedsCare" will feature arts and crafts, clowns, face painting as well as a visit from zoo animals courtesy of the Jacksonville Zoo.

    Callaway Warrior Club Fitting
    9:30 a.m.

    As part of Birdies for the Brave’s military outreach programs, Callaway Golf will provide two combat-injured warriors with the unique opportunity to be fitted for their own customized set of clubs on-site at THE PLAYERS Championship through the company’s Callaway Warrior Club Fitting program.

    Rob Strano Golf Clinic for the Deaf and Blind
    Tuesday, May 6 (12:15-12:45 p.m.)

    Rob Strano will host a unique clinic which offers students at the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind golf instruction in sign language. This is the only known golf clinic of its kind. The students range in ages from 10-18 years old and most have never had exposure to the game of golf or the opportunity to attend THE PLAYERS Championship. Due to the closure of Dye’s Valley Course, the clinic itself will take place at Ponte Vedra Inn & Club Golf Course, but then the attendees will be shuttled to THE PLAYERS for a hands-on experience at PwC’s First Tee Challenge at Stadium Village.

    PwC’s First Tee Chapter Shootout Competition
    4-5 p.m.
    Stadium Village

    PwC, a Trustee of The First Tee and Proud Partner of THE PLAYERS Championship, will host approximately 250 local young people from The First Tee of North Florida during Tuesday’s practice round. Participants will face off in a team competition in PwC’s First Tee Challenge, located in Stadium Village, for an opportunity to receive a charitable donation from PwC.

    Wednesday, May 7

    THE PLAYERS Championship Caddie Competition in memory of Bruce Edwards
    Each year at during the Wednesday practice round, players and caddies switch roles when they arrive at the famous 17th hole, and the caddies get the opportunity to take a swing. Each player contributes to the prize fund and the caddie who ends up closest to the pin takes home the money.

    Careers on Course program sponsored by John Deere
    During Wednesday’s practice round, teenage participants from The First Tee of North Florida will learn about golf course management and the science of agronomy through the continuation of the Careers on Course program sponsored by John Deere. The First Tee is a nonprofit youth development organization that provides life skills and character education program using golf as a platform.  

    FCA Golf Breakfast with the Pros
    7-9 a.m. - Sawgrass Marriott

    The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Golf has hosted a breakfast at THE PLAYERS Championship for nearly 30 years as a way for FCA members and PGA TOUR players to interact, share prayers and inspiration and use their stories to impact the lives of aspiring young golfers. All local area high school and college golf teams and coaches are invited to attend at no cost, thanks to table sponsors.     Sergio Garcia visits with kids in McKenzie Noelle Wilson Foundation Kid Zone
    11 a.m.

    THE PLAYERS 2008 champion Sergio Garcia will spend some time with approximately 120 kids from the McKenzie Noelle Wilson Foundation in the McKenzie Noelle Wilson Foundation Kid Zone. Garcia will do a Q&A with the kids, followed by a tour of the Kid Zone and interactive games and activities.

    Birdies for the Brave® Patriots’ Outpost official opening
    11-11:30 a.m.

    Throughout tournament week, all active duty and Reserve military members, military retirees, and their dependents will have access to the Birdies for the Brave Patriots’ Outpost, a hospitality tent reserved exclusively for the military which offers complimentary food, beverages and activities. Located near the tee at No. 16, the Patriots’ Outpost is financially supported by THE PLAYERS and Jacksonville-area companies and individuals. In 2013, more than 14,000 military members and their families were hosted in The Patriots’ Outpost.

    Military Appreciation Day Ceremony and Jake Owen Performance
    5:30 p.m. - Clubhouse Lawn

    The 2014 Military Appreciation Day ceremony will feature pageantry by military personnel and a ceremony including:
    • Pledge of Allegiance, Jack Fox, local Boy Scout
    • National Anthem, Preston Pohl, contestant, Season 5 of “The Voice”
    • Flyover by The Warbirds Flyover Team
    • Jacksonville Mayor Alvin Brown
    • PGA TOUR Commissioner Tim Finchem
    • Major General Emmett Titshaw, The Adjutant General, Florida National Guard
    • PGA TOUR Player Brandt Snedeker (presenting a check to help pay the college tuition of Brandi Anderson, representing Children of Fallen Patriots)
    Country music star Jake Owen will perform as part of the Military Appreciation Day event, which takes place on the terrace and lawn behind TPC Sawgrass clubhouse. Please note: local media who are onsite during Jake Owen’s performance may utilize up to three minutes of footage in news coverage.

    The Lot Party: Live at The Lot benefitting Corporate America Supports You
    5-10 p.m. - The Lot (outside the Nicklaus Gate in General Parking off of CR210)

    Funds raised from the event will help provide no-cost employment readiness, vocational training, and one-on-one job placement services for National Guard, Reserves, transitioning service members, veterans, military spouses, homeless female veterans, war wounded and caregivers of war wounded. The event will feature live performances from Jason Isbell and Cali Rodi. For more information, visit

    The Lot Party: The After Partee hosted by YMCA of Florida’s First Coast
    5:30-10:30 p.m. - The Lot (outside the Nicklaus Gate in General Parking off of CR210)

    YMCA of Florida’s First Coast will host The After Partee with food, drinks and entertainment. Kimberly Paige, a Ponte Vedra native, will open for Jon Pardi, who has shared the stage with Pat Green, Dierks Bentley and has opened for Luke Bryan’s “Spring Break” tour and Eric Church’s "Blood, Sweat and Beers" tour. Proceeds from the event will enable the YMCA to send children from underserved communities to summer camps across the First Coast to help prevent summer learning loss.     The Lot Party: THE CUT hosted by the Boselli Foundation
    6-11 p.m. - The Lot (outside the Nicklaus Gate in General Parking off of CR210)

    The Boselli Foundation will host the fourth-annual THE CUT with delicious food, drinks and live entertainment by The Band Be Easy. Founded by former All Pro Jaguars player Tony Boselli, the Boselli Foundation provides educational and character development programs to at-risk children in Jacksonville. From after-school programs to cultural enrichment activities to summer camp, the Boselli Foundation helps deserving children become champions at home, at school and in the community.     The Lot Party: Fancy Pants Party hosted by Blessings in a Backpack
    6-11 p.m. - The Lot (outside the Nicklaus Gate in General Parking off of CR210)

    Blessings in a Backpack will host the Fancy Pants Party with food, drinks and entertainment by Yacht Rock from Atlanta, bringing you the smoothest songs of the 80s. Funds raised from Fancy Pants will go directly to the Duval County chapter of Blessings in a Backpack, which provides children on the federal free and reduced lunch program a backpack full of food each weekend during the school year so they are assured nourishment when they're not in class.     Sunday, May 11

    PINK OUT and Mother’s Day at THE PLAYERS
    In honor of Mother’s Day, THE PLAYERS will once again stage a “PINK OUT” on Championship Sunday in celebration of mothers and in support of 26.2 with DONNA’s breast cancer marathon for research and care. In conjunction with Sunday’s “PINK OUT,” players, caddies, sponsors, volunteers and fans are encouraged to wear pink to TPC Sawgrass in support of 26.2 with DONNA, a local charitable organization that raises funds for ground-breaking breast cancer research at Mayo Clinic and women living with breast cancer. Fans can spend the entire day celebrating with mom, even before final-round competition begins. A non-denominational church service will take place on the Presentation Lawn (7-8 a.m.), and TPC Sawgrass will offer breakfast (8-10:30 a.m.) and brunch (11 a.m.-2:30 p.m.) in “Nineteen” on Mother’s Day. Please note: Fans who have reservations for breakfast or brunch must have a clubhouse ticket to access “Nineteen.”

    Chapel Service
    7-8 a.m. – Clubhouse Lawn

    For the 30th year, THE PLAYERS will host a Sunday morning service prior to the final round of the tournament, this year on the TPC Sawgrass Lower Clubhouse Lawn. Fans are encouraged to gather on the Lower Presentation Lawn for a sermon given by a local pastor. Seating will be provided and complimentary coffee and donuts are available for all in attendance.

    Closing Ceremonies
    Approximately 7 p.m. – Clubhouse Lawn

    THE PLAYERS Closing Ceremonies will be held on the Lower Clubhouse Lawn, where THE PLAYERS Trophy will be on display during the week, allowing fans to surround the stage and get closer than ever to the new champion. Not only will the ceremony be televised live on Golf Channel -- giving fans the chance to be seen on TV – but the 2014 winner will also sign a limited number of commemorative PLAYERS pin flags to distribute to some lucky fans who stick around to congratulate him.
