JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – As part of a season-long collaborative promotion between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the PGA TOUR, 2012 PLAYERS Champion Matt Kuchar will participate in the closest-to-the-pin contest during halftime of Sunday’s game against the San Diego Chargers (1 p.m. kickoff).
Kuchar and Jaguars mascot Jaxson de Ville will each hit an approximately 125-yard golf shot from atop the Sky Patio in the south end zone to an island green located at the 50 yard line. If Kuchar is closest to the hole, the Jaguars Foundation will make a $10,000 donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Jacksonville, as selected by Kuchar. If Jaxson de Ville is closer, the Jaguars Foundation will make a $1,000 charitable donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Jacksonville and every fan in attendance will receive a free order of cheesesticks from Papa John’s. In addition, if Kuchar or Jaxson de Ville were to make a hole-in-one, one fan selected prior to the game will win $1 million from the Jaguars.
