PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. -- The continuing breakthrough by dynamic young golf talent, the reemergence of some of the game's most popular stars and unprecedented comebacks were just a few elements that made 2012 one of the most captivating seasons on the PGA TOUR.
The best players in the world converged on the PGA TOUR stage to produce memorable moments throughout the season, capped by the compelling drama of the FedExCup Playoffs and Brandt Snedeker's emotional victory at the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola to win the FedExCup. Many of the success stories, including Snedeker's, were bonded by a similar theme of triumph over certain challenges or adversity.
PGA TOUR 2012: Redemption presented by Barclays, an hour-long NBC Sports special airing Sunday, Dec. 30 at 3 p.m. ET, highlights some of these memorable moments by focusing on players who persevered in clutch situations to find succeed.
