Bill Haas earned just one victory in 2011 but it was his most important start of the season at The TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola. Haas, who also posted two runner-up finishes and seven top 10s in 26 starts, rallied from No. 25 in the FedExCup standings after three Playoffs events and became the youngest winner in the five-year history of the FedExCup.

Bill Haas was solid tee-to-green at East Lake, ranking 2nd in total driving, 5th in ball striking and 1st in strokes gained - putting. On the greens, he out-performed the field by more than eight strokes with the putter (+8.142).

On the second playoff hole (17), Haas hit his second shot into the greenside water but managed to successfully get up-and-down from the hazard to extend the playoff with Hunter Mahan.
