PGA TOUR staff
A six-time winner on TOUR in 2009, Tiger Woods became the first player to win multiple FedExCups. Woods got into the winning swing at the Arnold Palmer Invitational then took over the FedExCup lead following his third win of the season at the AT&T National.
Woods ranked No. 1 entering the playoffs after picking up two wins and a runner-up finish in his last three starts of the Regular Season.

Following his tie for 1st at the Deutsche Bank Championship, Woods dropped to No. 2 in the FedExCup standings. He regained his lead with a victory at the BMW Championship then went on to a runner-up finish at The TOUR Championship, which allowed Woods to hoist the FedExCup for the second time.
