PGA TOUR staff
Vijay Singh got off to a solid start during the 2008 Regular Season, securing four top-5 finishes in his first nine starts of the season.
Singh added another top-5 finish at the Travelers Championship before going on to win the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational for his first victory of 2008.

Singh entered the Playoffs at No. 7 in the FedExCup standings and moved to No. 1 with his victory at The Barclays. He added to his lead with a victory the following week at the Deutsche Bank Championship and held that lead throughout the Playoffs to win the second FedExCup.
