Player notes Here are some of the players you'll see on the CBS's coverage of Sunday's final round BRENDAN STEELE Steele is making just his 12th start on the PGA TOUR and his best finish was a T17 earlier this year at the Farmers Insurance Open. He has never led after any round on TOUR. Steele got his card by winning last year's Nationwide Tour Championship, where he needed to finish fourth or better to earn his card. CAMERON TRINGALE As a rookie in 2010, Tringale only made five of 22 cuts on TOUR. So far this season, he has made eight of 11 cuts. Tringale was tied for the first-round lead at the 2010 Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, his only lead on TOUR after any round. Tringale also made the clinching putt to help the U.S. win the 2009 Walker cup. KEVIN CHAPPELL Chappell won the 2008 NCAA Championship, leading his UCLA Bruins to the team title along the way. He was also the only player in the field to shoot under par in the event. BRANDT SNEDEKER Coming into this week Snedeker had only made four of nine cuts, but he has finished inside the top 25 each of the four and in the top 10 three times.
STORYLINES FOR SUNDAY: • Brendan Steele has never led going into the final round on TOUR. Can he hang on? • Charles Howell III putted well, kept his ball in play and is in position to make a run at the lead. • Kevin Chappell shot a 2-under 70 in Round 3 and is only two shots off the lead.
