How do I watch the LIVE@ broadcast in "full screen" mode?
PGATOUR.COM is utilizing Windows Media Player to display its LIVE@ broadcast. Depending on which version of Windows Media Player you have installed on your computer, there are a couple different options to launch the video into "full screen" mode.
Windows Media Player version 11:
- place your cursor in the middle of the screen inside the video player
- right-click with your mouse; a small menu window will display
- scroll down to the "Zoom" option; another small window will open to the side
- select "Full Screen" by hovering-over that option and clicking on it
- your video screen display will now expand to "full screen" mode
Windows Media Player version 10 or older:
- place your cursor in the middle of the screen inside the video player
- double-click with the left mouse button
- your video screen display will now expand to "full screen" mode
To return to "normal screen" mode:
Regardless of which version of Windows Media Player, just press the "ESC" key at the top left of your keyboard to escape from "full screen" mode and return to "normal screen" mode so that the video screen appears within the rest of the LIVE@ video player.
What is PGATOUR.com LIVE@?
PGATOUR.com LIVE@ is an interactive video player application that allows you to watch live streams and on-demand video from a PGA TOUR tournament. In addition to watching video, you can also send an e-mail question or comment to the LIVE@ hosts, follow the tournament leader scores and customize your Leaderboard to follow five players of your choice. Now you can catch the tournament drama as it happens from your personal computer.
How do I send an e-mail to the LIVE@ hosts?
In the top right corner of the LIVE@ window, click on the "EMAIL US" link. It will open a small form for you to complete ("Email address," "Your Name," "Subject" and "Message." When you're done, click the "Send" button to submit your email to the LIVE@ hosts.
What are the minimum computer specifications required to use PGATOUR.com LIVE@ powered by Pipeline?
If you are using Microsoft Windows®:
- Microsoft Windows® 2000 or XP with SP2
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5+, Firefox 1+ or Netscape 6+
- Windows Media Player 9+
- Adobe Flash 7+ plugin
- 256MB RAM (512MB recommended)
- 800 x 600 resolution display
- 16-bit sound card
- Speakers or headphones

What if I'm having trouble with the video?
Please follow the instructions below to configure your player for HTTP streams. Make sure that you close the LIVE@ player before proceeding or changes to the Windows Media Player settings may not be saved.
Windows Media Player 9 or higher (Windows):
- To locate the player click Start > Programs > Accessories > Entertainment.
- Open Windows Media Player.
- On the menu bar, select "Tools" and pull down to "Options."
- In Options, select the "Network" tab.
- Under Protocols, uncheck "Multicast, UDP, and TCP." Only HTTP should be checked.
- Then hit "OK" to close this window, and "OK" again to close the Options window.
Windows Media Player 9 or higher (Macintosh):
- To locate the player, type "windows media player" into Spotlight or Finder or open your Applications folder.
- Open Windows Media Player.
- On the menu bar, select "Windows Media Player" and pull down to "Preferences...".
- In Preferences, select the "Network Settings" tab.
- Under Protocols, uncheck "Multicast, UDP, and TCP." Only HTTP should be checked.
- Then hit "OK" to close this window.
Close Windows Media Player and any open browsers, then re-launch the browser to PGATOUR.com LIVE@.
What are the bandwidth requirements for PGATOUR.com LIVE@?
PGATOUR.com LIVE@ is a broadband-only application. Because of the high-quality video content, you will need a broadband connection to the internet for optimal video playback. Most broadband connections will be adequate, including DSL (512kbps+), cable, and most corporate internet connections.
What if I hear the audio, but cannot get the video to play? Or if I get a "green screen" in the video player?
Your browser could be storing too much information in its cache (or "memory"), which may cause problems when attempting to watch live video.
To rectify, clear your browser's cache, close your browser, open it again and then launch LIVE@.
Here's how to do it in Internet Explorer:
Step 1: Open up Internet Explorer
Step 2: Across the top of the screen, you'll see options like "File Edit View Favorites Tools Help".
- click on "Tools"
- you'll see a submenu open
- scroll down to "Internet Options" and click on that link
Step 3: A new mini-window will open which will display numerous options.
- Scroll down to the middle section where it says "Temporary Internet Files"
- Click on the button that says "Delete Files"
- another mini-window will open
- there will be a checkbox with an option to "Delete all offline content" -- put you cursor in there and click that option
- then click the "OK" button
- You will see an hour glass appear while these files are being deleted. This will remain until the process is completed. If you have not done this in quite some time, the process may take a few minutes. Just let it do its work until the hour glass goes away.
- Once the hour glass goes away and you see your cursor again, click "OK" at the bottom of this window.
- this window will now close and you have successfully deleted the files from your browser's memory.
Step 4: Close your browser, re-open it and go to PGATOUR.com to launch LIVE@ video player.
Here's how to do it in Firefox:

Step 2: Across the top of the screen, you'll see options like "File Edit View History Bookmarks Tools Help".
- click on "Tools"
- you'll see a submenu open
- scroll down to "Options" and click on that link
Step 3: A new mini-window will open which will display numerous options.
- click on the "Advanced" icon at the far right
- in the tabs that display below, click on "Network"
- you'll see a section for "Cache"n
- click on the "Clear Now" button
- You will see an hour glass appear while these files are being deleted. This will remain until the process is completed. If you have not done this in quite some time, the process may take a few minutes. Just let it do its work until the hour glass goes away.
