ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- Kyle Massey, star of the Disney Channel’s hit series “That’s So Raven” brings golf and the PGA TOUR to a young audience in the PGA TOUR Kids Special "PGA TOUR Fore Kids" airing Saturday, August 5th at 12:30 pm ET on ABC.

Massey hosts the show from Anaheim, California, childhood home of PGA TOUR champion Tiger Woods and location of the Tiger Woods Learning Center. Woods created the center to provide local students with an educational and recreational facility where they can learn to develop their personal interests into an exciting career. Massey gets a chance to experience some of the resources at the center, and Tiger explains why he gets as much joy from giving back as he does competing on the golf course.

The First Tee was designed to provide young people of all backgrounds the opportunity to develop life-enhancing values such as honesty, sportsmanship and confidence through golf and character education. "PGA TOUR Fore Kids" will introduce viewers to the organization and share the compelling stories behind three program participants, including Malorie Luna from The First Tee of Houston at F.M. Law Park. Luna, a role model in her chapter known for her hard work and dedication, teamed up with a fellow member to organize a charity golf tournament that raised nearly $1,000 for Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.

Viewers will also hear from Preston Schaub, a recent graduate of The First Tee of Greater Austin, as he describes how a chance encounter with World Golf Hall of Fame Member Gary Player at the 2004 Wal-Mart First Tee Open at Pebble Beach changed his life.

Each year, ninety kids from First Tee programs around the world are invited to Manhattan, Kansas to compete for 40 spots in the Wal-Mart First Tee Open at Pebble Beach, an official Champions Tour event that teams junior players with Champions Tour players at the historic course on the Monterey Peninsula. PGA TOUR Fore Kids visits the Wal-Mart First Tee Open participant selection process and goes behind-the-scenes of this exciting event.
