Waste Management, Inc. becomes an official TOUR partner

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – Waste Management, Inc. (NYSE: WMI), the country’s leading provider of waste management services, has become an official marketing sponsor of the PGA TOUR and Champions Tour through a three-year agreement that was announced Monday.

Under terms of the agreement, Waste Management become the “Official Environmental Waste Services Provider” of both Tours and receives the opportunity to create TOUR-themed advertising and promotions, as well as develop an integrated marketing platform.

Waste Management will be able to utilize TOUR assets, such as tournaments to create relationship-building programs and on-site branding opportunities at PGA TOUR events, and advertising through PGA TOUR-produced media, including television, print and online. Additionally, the TOUR will identify potential opportunities to integrate Waste Management’s services into TOUR-run assets.
