"We are very excited to be opening our first store in the Atlanta area, which is our hometown," said Jorge Cora, chief financial officer of GTPS, and one of the group of former Home Depot executives and PGA of America professionals who make up GTPS' management team. "We have a very unique concept that focuses on game improvement, and we've created a highly interactive atmosphere that’s both high tech and great fun. Our selection of merchandise is the largest in town with all the major brands and sizes to fit any shape. The PGA TOUR Superstore is different than any other sports store you’ve ever visited, and it's a must see for any serious golfer or tennis player."

"The PGA TOUR is very excited about the potential of this new relationship with GTPS," said Leo McCullagh, vice president of Retail Licensing for the PGA TOUR. "We are confident that they will demonstrate that their concept for golf retail is unique and will allow thousands of golfers to be able to improve their games and shop in a retail environment that is a must-see."

The Roswell store is the first in a planned national expansion of the PGA TOUR Superstore concept, which was born in 2003 when GTPS joined forces with the PGA TOUR. The company's first stores were two 65,000 square-foot "Martin's Golf & Tennis Superstores," purchased in the Myrtle Beach. S.C., area in 2004.
