PGA TOUR Sunday gears up for Super Bowl XXXIX
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- With Super Bowl XXXIX set to kick off just a few miles north in Jacksonville later in the day, this week's PGA TOUR Sunday will weave a football theme throughout the show, with four-time TOUR winner Billy Andrade providing special coverage. PGA TOUR Sunday, which airs at 11 a.m. ET on USA Network, will provide the first national game-day look at Alltel Stadium and downtown Jacksonville with live reports, while Andrade, an 18-year TOUR veteran, will offer his findings at the Super Bowl Media Day, including a chat with two-time Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady of the New England Patriots. Plus, there will be an insider's look at how athletes and celebrities fared at the Tournament Players Club at Sawgrass Stadium Course's famed island 17th hole. Not to be overlooked is this week's FBR Open with live reports and a look at the ongoing battle for No. 1 in the world, with Vijay Singh looking to return to the winner's circle and Phil Mickelson in pursuit at Phoenix. Join Fran Charles, Tim Rosaforte, Andrade, Scott Walker and the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots this Sunday at 11 a.m.
