Grew up in Duncanville, TX, a Dallas suburb that has the No. 1-ranked high school basketball team in the U.S.
Wife, Gerina, is a member of the LPGA tour.
Played baseball, soccer and ice hockey as a youngster. His greatest thrill was the day he signed to play golf at Texas A&M, where his freshman-year roommate was fellow Nationwide Tour player Robert Gates.
Joined his brother spending their summer days playing golf at Thorntree CC. His brother was his roommate, along with two cats named Walker and Ranger.
Hopes to have a golden retriever some day. His mother is a television producer.
Was a camp counselor for Fellowship of Christian Athletes camps, Texas A&M golf camp and hockey camp for Hockey Ministries International. Interested in Christian ministry and enrolling in seminary some day.
Favorite TV show is "The Office" and favorite movie is "Rudy."
