| After attempting to earn his card through the PGA TOUR Qualifying Tournament every year since 2001, successfully made it through all three stages of the 2008 PGA TOUR Qualifying Tournament. 2009 PGA TOUR rookie fired a final-round, 7-under 65 at PGA West to finish in a seven-way T7 to earn his card. Won the first-stage tournament at St. Johns G&CC near Jacksonville, FL, where he attended college at the University of North Florida. Has played in one career Nationwide Tour event, missing the cut at the 2008 Henrico County Open. Says his wife and parents as his heroes and admits that he was too slow to play baseball in high school, so his focus shifted to golf. Biggest thrill in golf was playing in the 1999 U.S. Amateur with his father as his caddie. | |
