| 2003: Playing in only his 16th career event on the PGA TOUR, the rookie posted his best effort of his career with a T5 finish at the 2003 B.C. Open. Prior to coming to the B.C. Open the English native had just one top-25 finish in 15 starts, a T22 at the Buick Classic. Added a second top-10 with a T10 at the Southern Farm Bureau Classic in October. Then matched his career-best late in the season with a T5 at the Chrysler Classic of Greensboro. Earned initial PGA TOUR card via a T11 finish at the 2002 PGA TOUR Qualifying Tournament, his first attempt at Q-School. After turning professional in April 2002, finished T2 at the Galeria Kaufhof Pokal Challenge in June, then won the Charles Church Challenge Tour Championship at Bowood in July. Finished eighth on the European Challenge Tour's Order of Merit to earn his 2003 European Tour Card. Second rookie to earn card on both the PGA TOUR and European Tour in the same season (Richie Coughlan, 1998). | |

| Played in 16 PGA TOUR events in 2004 and enters 2005 with partial status after finishing 145th on money list. In sixth start of season, finished second to Mark Hensby in a playoff at the 2004 John Deere Classic. Earned a career-best $410,000 after posting four rounds in the 60s. Final-round 6-under-par 65 included birdies on four of the final five holes. On second playoff hole, failed to get up-and-down from hazard as Hensby captured title with tap-in par on the par-3 16th hole at the TPC at Deere Run. The next week at the 2004 B.C. Open was one off the lead after 18, 36 and 54 holes, but a closing 72 dropped him to T13. The two weeks in July doubled his career money on the PGA TOUR. Also made six starts on the 2004 Nationwide Tour. Best finish was T15 at the Henrico County Open. Rookie on the PGA TOUR in 2003.
