At age 8, Na's family moved from South Korea to the United States. Took up the game a year later and by the time he left the junior golf program had become the top junior player in the U.S. Bypassed senior year of high school and college to turn professional at age 17.
Appeared in a January 2010 episode of "CSI: Las Vegas" on CBS along with Rocco Mediate, Duffy Waldorf, Gary McCord and David Feherty.
