| Rookie on the PGA TOUR after finishing 14th on the Nationwide Tour money list in 2004, his first season on that circuit. Won the Jacob's Creek Open in his homeland of Australia. Drove 1,000 miles from Sydney to Adelaide in a car with 250,000 miles on the odometer in order to play in the event. His tournament-record 9-under 275 was good for a commanding five-stroke win over Brendan Jones, Anthony Painter and Wayne Grady. Collected a Tour record and personal best $145,587 for his efforts. Came back the following week with an impressive T5 finish at the New Zealand PGA Championship and garnered Player of the Month honors for February for his excellent play. Winner of the 1999 New South Wales PGA Championship and the 1999 Western Australian PGA Championship. | |
