Introduced to golf at age 9 by his estate agent father, a 10-handicapper.
After U.S. Open win in 2004, made a media tour that included an appearance on "Regis and Kelly" among other shows.
Is involved in course design work, with his first course, Legend Golf & Safari Resort, open in his native South Africa and a proposed project in China.
