After missing 18 of 18 cuts on the Nationwide Tour in 2003, former UNLV star carded three rounds in the 60s to make the cut at Las Vegas Invitational. His best score in 36 rounds on the Nationwide Tour to that point had been 68. Career Highlights

2000: Enjoyed a very successful rookie campaign on the PGA TOUR, finishing 77th on the money list with $611,632. Five top-10s were the most by a member of the 2000 rookie class.

Opening 67 left him one stroke off the first-round lead at the MCI Classic. After posting 3-over-par 74 on second day, rebounded with rounds of 65-69 to finish T3.

Shared second-round lead at Canon Greater Hartford Open after opening 9-under-par 131. Eventually finished T5 after a final-day 71. 1999: Finished fifth on the BUY.COM TOUR money list with $186,356. Posted 10 top-10s, including his first career victory at the Hershey Open. 1998: Second on the Omega Tour Order of Merit.

Biggest thrill in golf was winning the China Open with his wife Michelle caddying.

Also won the Malaysian Open. 1997: Continued to play overseas and won the India Open.

Finished T11 at the Las Vegas Invitational. 1996: Collected his first of four international victories at the Indonesian Open. 1995: Enjoyed limited success as a member of the BUY.COM TOUR, finishing 80th on the money list. Best effort was a T8 at the Shreveport Open and Greater Greenville Classic. Amateur: Played first year of college golf at Brigham Young University before transferring to UNLV for his final three seasons.

Personal
His father, James, played professional soccer in England and set a record for the fastest goal from kickoff. Fryatt's family came to the United States in the mid-1970s when his father began playing with the Philadelphia Atoms of the old NASL.
