2003: Only top-10 of the 2003 season was a T6 at the EDS Byron Nelson Championship for the biggest payday of his career, $187,600. His first top-10 since the 2002 Nissan Open. Moved back into the top 125 on the money list after a T18 finish at the Chrysler Classic of Greensboro, but missed the cut in the last two events of the season and fell to the 126th position on the final money list. 2002: Enjoy a successful sophomore season on the PGA TOUR. Earned full exempt status on the strength of two top-10 finishes and five top-25s. Made $306,950 of his season earnings in the first three events of the season. Rounds of 67-68-65-71 produced seventh-place finish at the Phoenix Open, third career top 10 on the PGA TOUR. Payday of $134,000 was largest of TOUR career. Second top-10 of West Coast Swing was T6 at Nissan Open, three strokes behind champion Len Mattiace. Closing 66 was low final-round score. Finished T14 at the Bell Canadian Open. The next week was two back of the lead through the first round with a 66. Closing rounds of 71-72-69 dropped him to T20.
