Best career PGA TOUR finish came at 1999 Honda Classic where he finished T3 and earned career-best $124,800.. Third-round 64 in COMPAQ Classic of New Orleans narrowly missed earning another top-10 and settled for T12.. While playing on BUY.COM TOUR, rocked the golf world by shooting 59 in the second round of the 1998 Miami Valley Open, matching Notah Begay III's record established three weeks earlier at Dominion Open. Three-putted final hole from 25 feet for his record-tying round, missing a chance for 58 from three feet. Finished second to Craig Bowden in the tournament.. Following week, came back from two strokes down to win first career BUY.COM TOUR title at Cleveland Open.. Missed earning full-exempt playing priveliges by nearly $3,000 and earned way onto 2000 PGA TOUR with 29th-place finish at 1999 Qualifying Tournament. |
