After nine years on the BUY.COM TOUR (1992, 1994-2001), earned his first PGA TOUR card with 12th-place finish on the 2001 BUY.COM TOUR money list. Missed just two cuts all season and finished in the top 10 six times, including a second and a third. Set BUY.COM TOUR record for greens in regulation (72.4%), a category he also led in 1999 (71.5%). The $169,947 that he earned in 2001 moved him to No. 2 on the career BUY.COM TOUR money list with $664,164. With three events remaining on the 1997 schedule, was 52nd on the money list, but rather than try to move into the top 50 for the TOUR Championship, went home for the birth of his daughter. Only BUY.COM TOUR victory came at 1995 Central Georgia Open. Winner of 1993 Georgia State Open. First-team All-America at Georgia in 1989.
