Career Highlights

1999 was a spectacular year as he posted career highs for earnings, money list position and top-10 finishes. Earned $1,533,636 to more than triple his previous most lucrative year, $451,983 in 1995. Finished 20th on money list and recorded five top-10s. Earned second career victory at FedEx St. Jude Classic. Second-round 64 lifted him into contention, while third-round 67 produced a four-way tie for the lead. Final-round 66 featured pair of eagles, including one on No. 16 which ensured a two-stroke victory over Tom Lehman and Tim Herron..

First top-10 of season, and first of three runner-up placings came at Nissan Open. Set Riviera CC course record with 10-under-par 61 in third round..

After opening with 2-over-par 72, came back with rounds of 64-62-68 to T3 at Canon Greater Hartford Open. Third-round 62 tied TPC at River Highlands course record..

The next week, rounds of 66-70-69-66 led to Buick Open runnerup finish. His final nine featured his second 29 of the week and seven consecutive birdies (11-17). Shot 29 on back nine of his first round..

Earned third runner-up finish of year at Westin Texas Open, where he lost on first playoff hole to Duffy Waldorf's 45-foot birdie putt.

Broke through with first PGA TOUR victory at 1995 Anheuser-Busch Golf Classic. Trailed by one stroke through 54 holes, but final-round 68 earned one-stroke victory over Scott Simpson. Held four-stroke lead following birdie on 11th hole, but Simpson birdied three of final six holes to pull to within one. Win was worth $198,000..

Nearly won again at rain-shortened Walt Disney World/Oldsmobile Classic, tying for second with Hal Sutton, one stroke behind Brad Bryant..

1997 season was highlighted by two top-10 finishes, including a T3 at Walt Disney World/Oldsmobile Classic, where he was one stroke out of David Duval-Dan Forsman playoff..

Best 1998 finish was T4 at B.C. Open..

Played Ben Hogan Tour (now BUY.COM TOUR) from 1990- 92 and won a tournament each year - 1990 Gateway Open, 1991 Utah Open, 1992 Shreveport Open. Placed fourth on Hogan Tour money list in 1992 to earn spot on PGA TOUR in 1993.

Played mostly on Nationwide Tour in 2005, making two cuts in 10 starts. Received a Non-exempt Major Medical Extension carryover for 2005 from hip injury and subsequent surgery. Ruptured Brevis tendon in right foot in 2006, necessitating surgery. Made one cut in two starts but fell shy of keeping his card through the medical extension. Has played in only 20 TOUR events in the last four seasons. Missed all of 2003 due to recovery from 2002 hip surgery. Did not make first 2002 start until the BellSouth Classic in April, and did not play again after the Buick Open in early August due to injury. In 2001, failed to post a top-10 for the second straight year after seven consecutive seasons with at least one.
