Season cut short by osteonecrosis in his right knee. Played just 11 events, with last start coming in early July at the Greater Kansas City Golf Classic. Had arthrscopic bone graft procedure done by Dr. James Andrews on August 29 and spent the remainder of the year in rehab. Best performance of abbreviated year came in his third start when he was T15 at the Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am, shooting 4-under 66 in the final round. |

Played in 11 BUY.COM TOUR events, making six cuts. Enjoyed his best season on PGA TOUR in 1994, winning the B.C. Open and finishing second in a playoff at the Deposit Guaranty Classic. Posted a final-round 66 to win B.C. Open by four strokes over Jeff Sluman. Has been plagued by back trouble throughout his career. Posted a 7-under-par 28 for nine holes in 1988 Texas Open. Teamed with Don January to win 1984 Shootout at Jeremy Ranch, then a PGA TOUR/SENIOR PGA TOUR event . |
