| Had only one start on the PGA TOUR, but made 20 appearances on the Nationwide Tour. Breakthrough year came in 1997 when he posted a career-best money list ranking (66th). Career-best finishes are seconds at the 1990 Canon Greater Hartford Open and 1997 Buick Open. Close call at 1990 Canon Greater Hartford Open came after entering final round tied for the lead. Recorded Nationwide Tour victories in 1994 and 1995 and earned return to PGA TOUR with 10th-place finish on 1995 Nationwide Tour money list. Had successful rookie season on PGA TOUR in 1985, finishing third twice, at Quad Cities Open and Greater Milwaukee Open, and placing 100th on money list. Won 1974 Kentucky State Amateur at age 18. | |
