Carlos Ortiz became the first two-time winner on the Web.com Tour in 2014, winning the El Bosque Mexico Championship by two shots over Justin Thomas.
With the second win, Ortiz is assured of a spot on the PGA TOUR for the 2014-15 season. But if he wins for a third time this season on the Web.com Tour, he'll earn an immediate promotion to the PGA TOUR.
For Ortiz, a native Mexican who won in front of friends and family just two hours from his home, his Ping Anser driver was crucial at El Bosque Golf Club.
"That driver's always been good to me, and it really helped me out here," said Ortiz, 22.
