Jason Day captured his second PGA TOUR title at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship, defeating Victor Dubuisson in 23 holes on Sunday. Day made a number of critical putts throughout the week with a new TaylorMade Ghost Tour Monte Carlo prototype putter he received at the beginning of the week.
Day made a few key adjustments to the putter, eliminating the alignment lines on the top of the head and adding an additional 10 grams of weight. He also had his son's name, Dash, added to the bottom of the sole.
"I felt like I didn't need the lines on the top anymore," Day said about the decision to go with an all white putter head. "I'm trying to focus more on the cup, and the clean topline allows me to do that."
