Matteo Manassero became the latest player to sign with Callaway Golf, agreeing to terms on a multi-year deal that will see him use the company's clubs and carry a Callaway staff bag this seasons. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Manassero, who was formerly with Titleist, took to Twitter on Monday to announce the news, tweeting out a photo of his new staff bag with a full set of Callaway irons, woods and an Odyssey Versa putter.
In his young career, the 20-year-old has already amassed four European Tour victories -- he became the first teenager to win three European Tour titles when he captured the Barclays Singapore Open in 2012 -- and low amateur honors at the 2010 Masters.
Manassero marks the third high-profile signing for Callaway. The Carlsbad, Calif.-based equipment manufacturer signed two-time PGA TOUR winner Harris English and FedExCup champion Henrik Stenson last week.
