Justin Rose gave golf fans a peek at TaylorMade's yet-to-be-released Tour Preferred iron on Thursday at the European Tour's Nedbank Golf Challenge, when he was spotted using a combo set of Tour Preferred MC and Tour Preferred CB irons.
TaylorMade last released a Tour Preferred line in 2010 but hinted that something new was in the works, posting three teaser photos to its Tour Diaries blog in November.
TaylorMade Japan's official website also posted photos of the Tour Preferred line recently, leading many to believe the irons released in the U.S. would look similar. Based on the photo from the Nedbank, the irons look identical to the Tour Preferred irons currently being sold in Japan.
The new irons feature the company's Speed Pocket technology in the sole and the words "Tour Preferred" in the back cavity. TaylorMade has yet to announce an official release date for the new iron line.
