Callaway's Tour staff has been playing for more than a hefty paycheck for the last month-and-a-half, when the company unveiled X-Bomb patches as a way to reward staffers for drives hit over 325 yards with an X Hot or RAZR Fit Xtreme driver.
The patches, which go on the side panel of each staff bag, have been a huge hit with every player. In an effort to keep track of the friendly competition, Callaway's Tour staff posted an X Bomb leaderboard in the Tour trailer, at The Honda Classic, to keep players updated on where they stand with X Bomb patches.
At the moment, Nicolar Colaserts, who opened the season at the European Tour Volvo Golf Champions event by hammering his first drive with his new Callaway X Hot driver 419 yards, leads the competition with 25 after earning 7 X Bomb patches last week at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship.
Golf fans can track the season-long competition by visiting Callaway's "Bombtracker" website.
