PEGGY'S OAK -- Traditionally the easiest of the par 4s, this hole gets the players off to a good start. The "Peggy Nelson" tree located about 150 yards from the green on the right has made players become more careful with placement of their tee shot. The long iron or fairway wood puts the player in a position for a short downhill wedge shot to a fairly flat and open green -- a lot of birdies are made on this hole and if the conditions are just right, the long hitters can hit a driver and get somewhat close to the green.
