PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – The Web.com Tour Championship has announced The Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa as one of the Founding Partners for the 2013 tournament. The Sawgrass Marriott will also serve as the Official Hotel of the Web.com Tour Championship and sponsor of the Web.com Small Business Forum. The Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa is located outside the gates of TPC Sawgrass, where the Web.com Tour Championship will take place from Sept. 26-29 on Dye’s Valley Course at TPC Sawgrass.
The Web.com Tour Championship is part of the newly created four-event Web.com Tour Finals, and the culminating event of the 2013 Web.com Tour season. All PGA TOUR cards will be finalized at the Web.com Tour Championship, making the Web.com Tour the path to the PGA TOUR.

The Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa in Ponte Vedra Beach has undertaken a refresh to enhance the timeless appeal of North Florida’s premier golf, spa and beach destination resort, slated to debut in fall 2013. As part of the refresh, the resort will debut a new “TPC Connection” -- an eight-passenger golf cart that will transfer guests staying at The Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa directly from the resort’s new Alice & Pete’s Pub to the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse.
