The Nationwide Tour's season got off to a rousing start last weekend with Mathew Goggin holding off Darron Stiles and Alistair Presnell to win by two shots on Sunday.

The Nationwide Tour moves to Bogota, Colombia for the Pacific Rubiales Bogota Open starting on Thursday.

Goggin, 36, fired a 2-under 68 on Sunday to capture his first win in nearly 12 years.

"I've had some opportunities over the years," the Australian said afterward, "but it's tough to win. It's tough to win anywhere."

Veteran Steve Pate is the defending champion this week. The Nationwide Tour will make its domestic debut March 24 with the Chitimacha Louisiana Open.

Mathew
GOGGIN
Strike while the iron is hot and Goggin is playing well through one tournament. He last won on the Nationwide Tour in 1999 until Sunday and he won twice that season. The hot weather in Panama didn't seem to bother Goggin.
Alistair
PRESNELL
Another close call for Presnell, who tied for second on Sunday, two shots behind Goggin. He also had a second place last season when he finished 37th on the money list. His time will come, and it might be this week.
Darron
STILES
He also had a close call, tying for second in Panama. He was solid last season making 14 cuts and having two top 10 showings. He's won four times on the Nationwide Tour in his career so he knows how to get it done.
Erik
COMPTON
Everybody knows about his two heart transplants, and if not for struggling on Sunday in the final round, he could have had a victory. If he stays committed to playing on the Nationwide Tour he could be a multi-winner this season.
Sam
SAUNDERS
Arnold Palmer's grandson was steady last week playing on a sponsor's exemption. He finished tied for 10th for his career-best finish thanks to a 7-under 63 in the third round. Earlier this year he tied for 15th in the PGA TOUR's AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.

Here are the power rankings for this week's event.
