The Travelers Championship is this week at TPC River Highlands. Here's how the PGATOUR.COM experts sized up the top contenders:

EXPERT PICKS
How it works: Our experts from PGATOUR.COM select the player they think will win this week's event by using a draft process -- no two picks can be the same. The player who wins the previous week picks last the following week.

ZACH JOHNSON. Feels like Zach is on the verge -- he was fourth at the Crowne Plaza Invitational and T6 at Wells Fargo. He was 18th last year at the Travelers; it's time for a bigger splash this week.

Anne
Szeker
WEBB SIMPSON. Vegas. New Orleans. Tampa. Just think ... this guy has had several chances to win in just the last year. Look for him to pull a Hunter Mahan (2007) and make this his first win on the PGA TOUR. This is his time.
If Szeker had the top pick ... Johnson
Chris
Dunham
PADRAIG HARRINGTON. Paddy never really got going at the U.S. Open, but getting back to the Travelers should bring out his best game. He was tied for fifth last year, two shots out of the playoff.
If Dunham had the top pick ... Harrington
Lauren
Deason
BUBBA WATSON. The defending champion -- and star of last week's Golf Boys video -- already has one win this season. He's also second in FedExCup points and in driving distance in 2011.
If Deason had the top pick ... Watson
Ryan
Smithson
DAVID TOMS. He's cooled off since his epochal PLAYERS-Colonial run, but I want a guy that can shoot 20 under this week. Toms shot 65-66-65-65 here in 2009 and still finished second. Lack of length won't hurt him here at all.
If Smithson had the top pick ... Harrington
Mike
McAllister
HUNTER MAHAN. Prior to last year's MC, Mahan had four consecutive top-4s at TPC River Highlands, including his first TOUR win in 2007. And prior to last week's MC at the U.S. Open, he had been playing well. Look for him to get back on track at a course he likes.
If McAllister had the top pick ... Mahan
John
Schwarb
KEEGAN BRADLEY. Lots to love in the rookie's game, starting of course with his win at the HP Byron Nelson last month. But I also like that Bradley didn't play in the U.S. Open, which means he's not exhausted for his first trip to TPC River Highlands.
If Schwarb had the top pick ... Watson
Helen
Ross
BRANDT SNEDEKER. His record in Hartford isn't stellar but I really like the way he's playing this year. He had four top-10s leading up to his playoff win at the Heritage and he's finished 16th or better in his last three starts -- including a tie for 11th at the U.S. Open.
If Snedeker had the top pick ... Mahan
John
Swantek
RYAN MOORE. I'm not sweating the missed cut at the U.S. Open - his first of the year. I'm more locked into his rank of 13th this year in strokes gained-putting and his finishes of 13th and 4th the last two years in Hartford.
If Swantek had the top pick ... Simpson
Brian
Wacker
NICK WATNEY. Much the way Rory McIlroy fell into my lap last week, Watney does this week. Watney hasn't played the Travelers since 2007, but fits the bill of best player available with seven top-10s this season, including two in his last three starts.
If Wacker had the top pick ... Watney
Standings after 25 events
LAST WEEK: Brian Wacker rode Rory McIlroy to his first win and a climb in the standings to within 40 points of the lead.
