EXPERT PICKS
How it works: Our experts from PGATOUR.COM select the player they think will win this week's event. By using a draft process, no two picks can be the same. The player who wins the previous week picks last the following week. Note: Two new experts, Chris Dunham and John Schwarb, are joining the panel for the Fall Series.

ZACH JOHNSON. I suspect he'll be tired and fighting jetlag after the Monday finish at the Ryder Cup. But the Sea Island resident will have the local knowledge of the Seaside course, as well as the support from the gallery.

Helen
Ross
JONATHAN BYRD. He has more job security after tying for fifth last week at the Viking Classic and jumping 15 spots on the money list to 115th. And this is a home game for the South Carolinian, who plays out of Sea Island.
If Ross had the top pick ... Byrd
Brian
Wacker
ROBERT ALLENBY. Great guy to have on a seaside course, especially if the wind blows. Hasn't done much since his solo second at THE PLAYERS Championship, but played all four FedexCup events despite dealing with that nagging ankle injury.
If Wacker had the top pick ... Johnson
Ryan
Smithson
LUCAS GLOVER. He's another one of the guys that has played this course a billion times. Glover has been off a month, which should help. I am very surprised that Matt Kuchar is in the field -- he has to be fried -- and I'll probably regret not taking him.
If Smithson had the top pick ... Byrd
Chris
Dunham
HEATH SLOCUM. On a short course, I look for someone who can keep it in play and Slocum was first in driving accuracy and tied for 11th in GIR last week. Slocum says his putter is his favorite club, and if he can get it going this week, look out.
If Dunham had the top pick ... Slocum
Lauren
Deason
JUSTIN LEONARD. I talked myself out of Matt Kuchar and Davis Love III, who were at the Ryder Cup, and Bill Haas, who is likely tired after picking up his second TOUR title last week. Leonard hasn't missed a cut since July.
If Deason had the top pick ... Byrd
Casey
Black
BRENDON DE JONGE. Has enjoyed a career year, and it only got better last week when he tied for third at the Viking Classic. At 33rd on the money list, has a very realistic shot at finishing 30th or better and earning a spot in the Masters and U.S. Open.
If Black had the top pick ... de Jonge
John
Swantek
BO VAN PELT. After playing six tournaments in seven weeks, including all the FedExCup events, he should be refreshed after taking last week off. Solid all season; ranked 13th in scoring average and 17th in par-4 scoring -- a key stat on a par 70 with only two par-5s.
If Swantek had the top pick ... Byrd
John
Schwarb
BILL HAAS. With the ninth pick, I'll happily take the man coming off a win. Haas prevailed at the Viking Classic for his second win of the season, adding to the scrum of players with multiple wins on TOUR in 2010. Can he join Jim Furyk with three?
If Schwarb had the top pick ... Byrd
Anne
Szeker
DAVID TOMS. He didn't make it to East Lake, but had a few good finishes down the stretch, including a solo second at Wyndham, and tied for 11th at the Viking Classic. He's also seventh in driving accuracy.
If Szeker had the top pick ... de Jonge
