We’ve reached the final leg of the PGA TOUR Season. This week marks the first of a final four-week run-up to the FedExCup Playoffs with five events offering players opportunities to move inside the FedExCup top 125 and secure a spot in the Playoffs, as well as 2013-14 TOUR status.

Following this week’s RBC Canadian Open is a two-event week, a major, and the annual last stop before the Playoffs: the Wyndham Championship.

This week’s field features 80 competitors outside the current FedExCup top 100 who could make great strides toward locking up a Playoff position at Glen Abbey.

Chez Reavie, currently 105th in the FedExCup standings, is among the players who could move from the bubble to a Playoff lock with a good showing. Reavie won this event at Glen Abbey in 2008 but missed the cut on the same course a year later. He’s since added ties for 13th and 37th at Canadian Opens on different courses.

Other TOUR winners on the bubble include Camilo Villegas (110th), Ben Crane (117th) and last week’s Sanderson Farms Championship victor Woody Austin. The 49-year-old Austin had missed three cuts in as many starts this year prior to last week’s event but his title netted him 300 FedExCup points and pushed him to the cusp of a Playoff berth at No. 130 in the FedExCup standings.

Past PLAYERS champion and Canadian citizen Stephen Ames will surely be a crowd favorite this week, and could use a boost in the FedExCup race. He checks in this week at No. 164 in the standings after not posting a finish better than 30th since he tied for 20th at the Sony Open in Hawaii this January. Ames has two top-10 finishes in this event, including a tie for eighth in 2009 -- the last time the RBC Canadian Open was contested at Glen Abbey.

Below you'll find a list of a dozen players currently outside the FedExCup top 100, how high they could move with a finish of first-through-tenth place, and how far they could possibly fall if they do not earn any FedExCup points this week.
