Harris English picked up his maiden victory at TPC Southwind to reach the FedExCup top 15 for the first time in his young career.
English, a sophomore on the PGA TOUR, checks in at No. 13 in the standings following his FedEx St. Jude Classic triumph. English’s previous FedExCup high was a one-week visit to the 23rd position after his tie for ninth at this year’s Sony Open in Hawaii.
Jonathan Byrd got on track with his first top-10 finish in more than an injury-plagued year with his tie for 10th at TPC Southwind. Byrd, who was sidelined by a wrist injury for much of the close of 2012 and the start of 2013, had made 16 starts since his T6 at last year’s Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide Insurance without a top 10. With his finish, Byrd moved 38 spots from 224th to 186th in the latest FedExCup standings.
Also on the move -- for the third consecutive week -- is Scott Stallings. The two-time TOUR winner has finished T4, T4, T2 in his last three starts to climb from 103rd all the way to 24th in the latest FedExCup standings. This week's 33-spot jump was the biggest of his three moves but each gain was of more than 15 positions.
Shawn Stefani and Rory Sabbatini, two competitors who tied for seventh at TPC Southwind, made moves inside the FedExCup top 125 last week. Stefani checks in at 120th while Sabbatini moved up to 115th.
Below are the biggest movers, both up and down, following the FedEx St. Jude Classic.
