Matt Kuchar, Freddie Jacobson
Charl Schwartzel, Charlie Wi
He’s No. 1 in my Power Rankings and embraces the challenge of a track that requires keeping the ball in play. Already has proven success at TPC San Antonio, too, with last year’s T13. Mike
Freddie Jacobson, Charley Hoffman,
Charl Schwartzel, Matt Kuchar
Jacobson has two top 10s in three starts at the AT&T Oaks Course and has never finished outside the top 30 in six starts in San Antonio. But don't be surprised if Hoffman wins, either. His track record in the Alamo City is also impressive (T-13 or better in six of his seven starts). Bill
Charl Schwartzel, Freddie Jacobson,
Matt Kuchar, Brendon de Jonge
Arguably the best player in the field, especially with Rory McIlroy still trying to find his groove. Schwartzel's lone PGA TOUR win came at the 2011 Masters, so he's more than due. Kuchar, de Jonge and Jacobson all have solid short games, which will hopefully pay off at a tight course in the Alamo City. Chris
Freddie Jacobson, Ben Curtis,
Brendan Steele, Charl Schwartzel
TPC San Antonio will test players on every single shot and only get tougher as players approach the greens. Give me a grinder who can roll the rock as well as anyone to win this week. I'll bank on Curtis and Steele's flawless records here (albeit in a combined three starts) and Schwartzel's early-season form to round out my lineup. John
Matt Kuchar, Freddie Jacobson,
Charl Schwartzel, Charlie Wi
We last saw Matt at Tampa Bay, where he was T14. That's a good indicator for TPC San Antonio, another course that's no pushover. At the very least he's going to be sniffing around the top 10, which would put me in far better standing than last week. Helen
Brian Davis, Billy Horschel,
Jimmy Walker, Ian Poulter
Davis finished strong on Sunday at the Shell Houston Open. Look for him to ride that momentum on his next stop in the Lone Star State. Ryan
Matt Kuchar, Jimmy Walker,
Billy Horschel, Freddie Jacobson
Walker, who lives in San Antonio, is intriguing this week. Missed last two cuts (badly) at Valero, but T3 in 2010. Having a career year, too. I've also decided to stop leaving Horschel off my team -- he's making (literally) every cut. Cue the jinx!
Matt Kuchar, Justin Leonard,
Charl Schwartzel, Ben Curtis
Kuchar already has a win and two other top 10s this season. Plus, he plays well on tough tracks and tied for 13th at TPC San Antonio last year. There's no reason to think he won't do at least that well this week. Anne
Cameron Tringale, Rory McIlroy,
Charl Schwartzel, Billy Horschel
It's not easy to pass on names like Schwartzel and Kuchar, but I'm going with Cameron Tringale. He's grinded his way into top-27 finishes in five of his last six starts and was T8 here last year. John
Freddie Jacobson, Jimmy Walker,
Jordan Spieth, Billy Horschel
A strong season (32nd in FedExCup race) coincides with a strong track record at TPC San Antonio (2nd, 5th, 18th last 3 years). Plus, he's pressure-free having qualified for the Masters by sitting out last week and staying inside the top 50 in WGR. Amanda
Jimmy Walker, Bud Cauley,
Rory McIlroy, Billy Horschel
Walker is from the area is still getting adjusted to a new baby in the family, but should come back to form at the place he tied for third at in 2010 -- especially considering he'll be sleeping in his own bed all week. PGATOUR.COM Experts league
