By Dave Senko, Champions Tour staff

The Champions Tour rookie from Las Vegas secured his card by emerging from a four-man playoff to claim the fifth and final fully-exempt spot with a birdie on the second extra hole at last year’s Champions Tour’s National Qualifying Tournament at TPC Eagle Trace in Florida. A veteran of the PGA TOUR (224 starts) and Web.com Tour (164 starts), Riegger missed the first five months of the 2013 season awaiting his 50th birthday, which came on June 13. He owns two wins on the Web.com Tour, the most recent coming at the 2010 Rex Hospital Open in Raleigh.
