SAVANNAH, Ga.-- As part of the Champions Tour's ongoing commitment to honor the men and women of the U.S. military, the Liberty Mutual Insurance Legends of Golf is extending free admission to all active duty, retired and Reserve military personnel. The 35th annual all-team event will feature over 125 of golf's most accomplished players including Fred Couples, Hale Irwin, Bernhard Langer, Gary Player, Lee Trevino and Tom Watson and will be held April 16-22 at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa on Hutchinson Island.

Complimentary admission will be offered for the entire week to active duty, retired, and Reserve military personnel and their dependents. Tickets may be downloaded in advance by visiting birdiesforthebrave.org or military members may present their government issued identification card at the gate in exchange for a grounds ticket. All youth under the age of 18 will be admitted free with a ticket-holding adult.

While at the Liberty Mutual Insurance Legends of Golf on Friday through Sunday, military families are invited to visit the Birdies for the Brave Patriots' Outpost, a hospitality chalet located on the 17th green offering complimentary food and beverages courtesy of Chick-Fil-A and HostSouth.

Additionally, tournament officials have declared Saturday, April 21 as Military Appreciation Day at the Liberty Mutual Insurance Legends of Golf. Following the day's second round there will be a special ceremony on the 18th green featuring color guard from Hunter Army Airfield and singing of the national anthem. On Friday-Sunday, military members from Hunter Army Airfield will also serve as standard bearers for select pairings and announcers on the 17th green.

Through the "Birdies for Charity" program, Liberty Mutual Insurance will once again donate $100 for every birdie made on the The Club at Savannah Harbor's four par-3 holes and $25,000 for the first hole-in-one during the Legends Division competition (Friday-Sunday) to the Chaplain's Consolidated Tithes and Offering Fund at Hunter Army Airfield and Fort Stewart.

The Liberty Mutual Insurance Legends of Golf's week of competition kicks off on April 16 with the Demaret Division on Monday and Tuesday followed by the Raphael Division on Friday and Saturday. Official competition begins with the first round of the Legends Division on Friday, April 20.
