HARRISON, N.Y. -- John Cook, Bernhard Langer, Kenny Perry and Craig Stadler are the latest players to join the field at the Constellation Energy Senior Players Championship, to be held Aug. 17-21 at Westchester Country Club.

Cook has 11 PGA TOUR titles and was a member of the victorious 1993 U.S. Ryder Cup squad. He's won another eight times on the Champions Tour, capturing three of those titles in 2011 to position himself as a strong contender in the season-long Charles Schwab Cup race. Cook had 12 appearances at Westchester on the PGA TOUR and finished T5 in 2000.

Langer is a two-time Masters champion with 58 international titles. A 2002 World Golf Hall of Fame inductee and native of Germany, Langer has been a member of 10 European Ryder Cup teams and served as captain of the 2004 winning team at Oakland Hills Country Club in Birmingham, Mich. Since his Champions Tour debut in August 2007, Langer has collected another 14 titles, three consecutive Player of the Year awards and the 2010 Charles Schwab Cup. Langer, who was sidelined four months this season while recovering from thumb surgery, had four starts at Westchester on the PGA TOUR with his best finish being T47 in 2006.

Perry has 14 PGA TOUR wins and will be making his first Senior Players Championship start. The Kentucky native joined the Champions Tour in late 2010 and has been splitting his time between the two Tours. Perry has nine previous starts at Westchester and finished T3 in 2005.

Stadler is a 13-time winner on the PGA TOUR, with his biggest triumph coming at the 1982 Masters where he recovered from an opening round 75 to outlast Dan Pohl in a playoff at Augusta National. One of golf's most colorful personalities, "The Walrus" joined the Champions Tour in 2003 and has gone on to claim eight titles including a Senior Players Championship victory at TPC Michigan.

"I love that we're going back," said Stadler about Westchester Country Club, a course he played 20 times during his PGA TOUR career and had two top-10 finishes. "It should be a good golf course for us... short, tight, hard."

The entire 78-player field will be released at 6 pm ET on Friday. Previously announced players include defending champion Mark O'Meara, Mark Calcavecchia, Ben Crenshaw, Brad Faxon, David Frost, Bob Gilder, Jay Haas, John Huston, Hale Irwin, Tom Lehman, Tom Kite, Steve Pate, Corey Pavin, Nick Price, Loren Roberts, Scott Simpson, Jeff Sluman, Hal Sutton, Bob Tway, Bobby Wadkins, Tom Watson and D.A.
