SAVANNAH, Ga. -- The past two team champions of the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf have officially committed to the 2011 event, tournament officials today announced. World Golf Hall of Fame member Bernhard Langer and Tom Lehman, winners of the 2009 Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf, will join forces for the third-consecutive year while Mark O'Meara and World Golf Hall of Fame member Nick Price will pair together for the fourth time in defense of their 2010 title. Both teams will compete in the 54-hole Legends Division, which awards official money and Charles Schwab Cup points, when the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf returns to the Savannah Harbor Golf Resort, April 18-24.

"We're pleased to announce that the teams of Bernhard Langer and Tom Lehman, our 2009 champions, as well as our defending champions Mark O'Meara and Nick Price, are all back in the field for the 2011 Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf," said Executive Director Joe Rotellini. "Both teams have treated golf fans in Savannah to outstanding golf and dramatic sudden-death finishes the past two years and I'm sure we are in for more of the same next month."

In one of the most memorable finishes in Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf history, Langer and Lehman captured the 2009 event in a sudden-death playoff with Jeff Sluman and Craig Stadler. Lehman, who at the time was making his Champions Tour debut, clinched the victory with a four-foot par putt on the second extra hole after Langer connected on a 45-foot birdie putt to extend the playoff. Since their victory in Savannah in 2009, the pair has combined for 10 individual victories, including three major championships on the Champions Tour. Both have already won on the Champions Tour in 2011 with Lehman capturing the Allianz Championship and Langer winning the ACE Group Classic.

O'Meara and Price will return to Savannah looking to defend their title and become the fifth duo to win back-to-back team better-ball titles at the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf. The last team to successfully defend at the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf was Jim Colbert and Andy North in 2000 and 2001. O'Meara and Price claimed the victory last year on the second hole of sudden death over John Cook and Joey Sindelar when Price holed an eight-foot par putt on No. 18. Price collected his fourth Champions Tour victory at the Toshiba Classic while O'Meara has collected top 10s in each of his three first three starts.

The Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf will be televised by the Golf Channel and CBS. Golf Channel will provide live coverage on Friday from 12:30-2:30 pm while CBS will televise the weekend's play live from 1-3 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday (all times are local).
